How much are liposuction costs? Quality has its price and a good liposuction can cost thousands of Dollars. The bad news is that a cosmetic surgery like a liposuction is not covered by standard health insurance. That means you have to pay 100% of all costs for the surgery. This is much money for most people. Luckily there are more and more companies nowadays that offer funding for cosmetic surgery procedures.

Before you can consider financing you must be aware of the total liposuction costs. What are your goals? Do you just want a very targeted fat removal on a specific area or do you want a liposuction spreading over a large area, which easily can pass the ten grand mark.

So, the area is the first factor when calculating the costs. Usually the back, arms an the buttocks are much cheaper than a abdomen liposuction or a fat removal for the breasts. If you combine areas then the costs increase as well.

The costs for the liposuction surgery can also increase when there are other risk factors to consider. What is the general health condition of the patient, how good is his/her skin condition, are there scars or has there been a liposuction before already?

The location of the cosmetic surgeon has big impact on the liposuction prices as well. A Beverly Hills liposuction will be much higher priced than a New Jersey liposuction. The costs of living are different in different locations. It’s also more expensive to choose an experienced surgeon with an established medical clinic than a less experienced colleague who has just opened his/her doors.

State of the art equipment is also expensive and will increase the costs for your surgery. Every modern technique which usually needs the latest technical devices, will have much higher costs.

What’s the best way to save on liposuction costs? For some it does not matter, they would pay any price to look better, slimmer, healthier. However, if you are willing to invest some time for research then a good way to save money is to find a good surgeion in a much less expensive location.

Everybody is afraid of a surgery. How much pain does it cause, how much damage. Will the outcome be worth paying the price? This is especially true when it comes to cosmetic surgery, when the operation is done for aesthetic reasons only. Here you want to be sure that the outcome is perfect.

The traditional liposuction uses a needle to literally tear out the fat cells. If you have seen the procedure on TV already then you know already that it looks pretty brutal and it is quite a shock for your body.

The so called tumescent liposuction adds some advantages to this procedure so that it becomes less invasive and much safer.

The advantages of tumescent liposuction are clear. Much less blood loss, a much faster recovery time and it just requires a local anesthesia instead of a full one. The procedure allows a fat removal with much less tissue damage and is therefore the number one technique in liposuction today.

How does tumescent liposuction work? Basically it is not much different to the traditional method beside the fact that during the surgery a lot of fluid is injected under the skin. If one liter fat is going to be removed than about three liters of fluid are injected. The liquid consists of saline, lidocaine and epinephrine. It shrinks the capillaries and reduces blood loss that way.

This fluid causes a swelling and when the needle is inserted to remove the fat cells, the doctor has much more room to operate and causes less damage.

Once the surgery is finished, you recover more quickly. Usually it just takes less than 4 days to recover enough to go back to work. There is pain of course but it is not that big that it causes troubles.

There is one disadvantage of tumescent liposuction but it is something you can neglect. The surgery takes a little longer than without the fluid because inserting the fluid and removing it slowly after the surgery just takes its time. Beside of that it is the same surgery, just with better results.

There are common side effects like with any surgery. You may experience swelling and pain of course. There will be scars and some numbness. All these things should disappear after a few days to weeks and no longer bother you. Beside of that there are other typical complications for a liposuction. Your doctor has a list of all possible outcomes. Beside of that, tumescent liposuction is known to be very safe nowadays.

Read Reasons For Vegetarianism

by Jim John

Many people choose to live their life entirely without any animal products. They choose a vegetarian diet that will fill all of their nutritional needs and keep them healthy and strong. What are some of the reasons for vegetarianism that these people generally give for their lifestyle?

There are several reasons why individuals choose a vegetarian way of life, but the health benefits seem to be predominant among them. Hormones and drugs in cattle are commonplace, therefore, they’re in your steak too. E-coli outbreaks and mad cow disease seem to be daily headlines. Obviously, these are significant points to think about when giving up beef, other meats and animal products.

The vegetarian lifestyle is very healthy, and with a little planning can be just as nutritionally beneficial as a diet containing meat and animal products. Most people that eat meat just do so out of habit. They probably have never even considered cutting meat out of their diet and replacing it with other healthy and delicious foods instead. Everybody can and should weigh their options and choose the diet that works best for them. Many people find that vegetarianism fits that bill perfectly.

Animal cruelty is another reason that people give to explain their vegetarian life. The way that meat is processed and obtained in our technologically advanced world leaves a lot to be desired. The production of meat, and that is exactly what it is, would make the biggest fan of meat products wince and vow to never touch another bite. The problem is that many people are unaware of what is done to provide the meat that is eaten every day.

Any true humanitarian or animal-lover cannot condone the awful treatment that animals are given just to provide us with food to eat. Vegetarians are people who choose to eat healthily and without being a part of the slaughtering of millions of animals for the production of meat each year.

In addition, many believe that human beings are not meant by design to eat meat. They believe that upon close examination of human teeth and internal digestive system, the conclusion would be that humans were built to be herbivores, not carnivores.

If one really tries to look critically at it, being a vegetarian actually is saving the environment. One cannot imagine a lot of people are still being ignorant about the dire environmental problems brought about by the massive greenhouse gas emissions of vast steer farms world over. Meat production is actually one massive venture. Not just hundreds, but millions of cattle are raised in unimaginably thousands of acres of lands. In fact, there can be no other entity that is particularly responsible for more carbon emissions to the atmosphere than cattle. If the call of the times is to protect the Earth from the destructive effects of global warming, then there can be no other most potent thing one person can possibly do to substantially help the environment than to live a healthy vegetarian lifestyle.

Created by Duke University, the Rice Diet was created in order to help those with hypertension, heart disease, obesity, and diabetes. The diet is not a typical diet and cannot be followed from the comfort of your home.

Unlike the name, Rice diet program has little relation with rice. To say simply, Rice diet program is a low-fat, low-salt diet reducing obesity and maintaining good health. It is a primarily vegetarian diet which works wonders if followed punctually for two to four weeks of dieting. It is served as 3 meals a day.

The phase 1 program includes grains and fruits. Medical supervision is mandatory and hence it is recommended to do the same at medical centers rather than at home. The rice diet food list for phase 1 includes lean cut beef, cheese, eggs, lamb, pork, seafood, vegetables, oil, veal, tofu, nuts, and dairy.

Phase 2 includes vegetables, beans and other carbohydrates, in addition to grains and fruit. You can have fish once in a week. Meals can also be taken. Vegetarian eating habits are prescribed until you attain your goals. Non-fat dairy products, fish and lean meats can be used depending upon one?s physical condition. The rice diet food list for phase 2 includes fruits, dairy, vegetables and legumes, and starch (controlled).

The second phase of the diet allows dieters to add fish, beans, vegetables, and other types of carbs to their own menu. The Rice Diet program is best suited for those who are extremely overweight and have been struggling with obesity since childhood or for a few years. It is also for people who need to lose a lot of weight, not just a few pounds. The diet is not for everyone as it is also very costly.
