If you want to lose weight, you may need an appetite suppressant. Some experts suggest that you try some natural options first. Here are some foods that may help control your appetite and ensure weight loss.

Apples

First on the list of natural suppressants is the apple. You may have noticed that apples take longer to chew especially if you do not cut them into little pieces. Chewing longer will give your brain the time it needs to register that you are full. This will in turn reduce your chances of overeating. Apples are also fiber-rich. Fiber can make you feel fuller longer because it does not digest quickly.

Tea

Green tea is also known for its ability to help burn fat aside from it being an appetite suppressant. This is why it is popular among people who wish to lose weight. The beverage however can also stimulate the release of hormones that can control or limit food cravings.

Chocolate

Some kinds of chocolates should be avoided. Some brands and types carry a lot of calories and are sugar rich which makes them major weight contributors. Very small portions of dark chocolate however may be good for you. The bittersweet taste of pure dark chocolate can leave you feeling satisfied.

Oatmeal

Another suppressant is the oatmeal. That?s why it should be in your breakfast menu more often. Oatmeal contains carbohydrates that do not quickly run out as you use it for energy, hence making you feel less like eating more. It is also fiber rich.

Flaxseeds

Looking for another rich in fiber? Flaxseeds are yet again rich in fiber. They are however, best consumed when raw. If you want more flavor with your flaxseeds, you can mix them with your early morning bowl of oatmeal.

Water

Keep yourself hydrated. Drinking a lot of water throughout the day can keep you hydrated. It can also limit your appetite especially if you drink a glass before a meal.

Salad

Eat salad. It makes a lot of sense to serve salads before the main meal. This is because salads are rich in fiber. Some salad greens also contain water. This makes them perfect suppressants.

Coffee

Coffee too can help you cut your appetite. You do have to take it moderately though. Drink only one or two cups a day and make sure that your creamer is non-fat. If you are able to take unsweetened coffee then that would be a better idea.

Soup

Soup too is often served before the main course. Since soup contains water, it can naturally make you feel full even before you take your first bite. Do make sure though that you do not take soup that is creamy because this can be fattening.

Select or choose low fat meats like chicken and turkey.If you must eat red meat every week buy the lean cut .Eat two portions of oily fish per week, Avoid fatty foods such as cheeses. deep fried, take away, the high fat content is not going to assist you in losing weight.

EXERCISE-Increasing your physical activity level to between 60 and 90 minutes of moderate physical activity, for five days every week. This could be anything from a brisk walk to running or swimming.jogging, getting out for a run every morning before having breakfast is a must, your glycogen levels are low so you will burn into fat quicker.It might not be possible to all people,however excellent method of getting the weight off.

Do not expect to lose too much weight in few weeks. Losing between 1 and 2 pounds a week is better, because this is likely to lead to a sustainable weight loss. Once you have increased your level of physical activity, you will be toning up muscle which lead to a slight increase of weight on the scales as muscle tissue is thicker than fat tissue so therefore it weighs more on the scales. Measure around your waist as this may show a more impressive improvement than the scales given what we have said about the density of muscle fiber.

Physical Appearence in this day of age is more important then ever when it comes to social and career success. The image people have of a successful person is built around fitness in both physical and moral aspects, creating a a physical and moral correctness.

Many People are interested in keeping themselves in good shape, especially after a winter of eating heavier foods.

The first thing to do when trying to get rid of the unwanted excess kilograms is to take a look at your diet. This is the first step on your journey.

Do you rely heavily on chips, soft drinks or junk food to get through the day? Vegetables and fruits are a must, Are you eating enough? Whilst you might enjoy the occasional spoiling of a hamburger, chips and a soft drink as a satisfying combination, it can also pose a deadly health hazard to your health. To stay fit you must stop eating high-powered food that contains too much energy.

Your body doesn’t like to waste things it can use later on and energy is one of the most important things that can be stored. Eating hamburgers and chips while leading a largely sedentary lifestyle gives your body much more energy than it normally uses.

This energy is not thrown away, but converted to fat and put into storage. Therefore, you must cut down on this type of food and turn to the humbler fruits and vegetables to keep hunger in check without putting your health at risk.

Now you need to start exercising. Getting fit can be fun, especially when you have friends to influence you. Exercise is needed to help you shed those extra stored kilo’s. A brisk walk is ok, but half an hours exercising is good or an hour in the gym 5 days a week is perfect.

Always make sure you drink lots of water throughout your diet. And just think not only will you lose kilo’s but your confidence will improve immensely as you get fitter.
