A Low Calorie Cocktail is a great method to drink an alcoholic drink but not do any damage to whatever weight loss program you maybe on. Many people think that they are drinking low calorie cocktails but that is not true all the time. For example, a vodka cocktail, a screwdriver or a orange juice may have a lot of sugar and many hidden calories. This is why making a low calorie alcoholic cocktail is a challenge. Most of the cocktails are full of calories, like the mixed drinks of coconut rum or cherry coke. But dont worry. There are many low calorie drinks that you can make.

The most popular low calorie alcoholic cocktail is rum and diet coke. Now most drinkers complain about the taste but this replacement for the classic rum and coke totals only 110 calories and has seven times less calories than a long island iced tea.

Next up is the vodka diet cranberry cocktail. An extremely popular drink that is high in calories and sugar because of the cranberry juice. One solution is to make it with cranberry flavored crystal which has much lower calories. This one clocks in with only 140 calories.

The Cosmopolitan. This beverage is excellent and it can have fewer calories also. The original recipe is with two parts triple-sec, four parts vodka, two parts crystal lite cranberry juice and one part lime juice. You will get a treat that has just a few calories.

Last but not least is the Mojito. If made to the correct recipe yields only 160 calories along with 15 grams of sugar. It consists of sugar, mint leaves, fresh lime, club soda and the alcohol is light rum.

No matter which of these machines you might choose, make certain you don’t start with both guns blazing. Work your way up in intensity gradually. You don’t want the “weekend warrior” affect to keep you from losing 20 pounds in a month.

2. Move Around.

Get active and burn that fat. All of this activity will help you to lose weight even more effectively than just sitting around. Whether you walk, run, jump or even swim you can help your body lose weight.

3. Eat well.

As with anything else, moderation is the key. When it comes to getting those extra pounds off, hold off on the carbs and consider a high protein diet. Add more fruits and veggies to the equation and you should get a menu that’s not only healthy but weight-reducing as well.

4. Keep a journal

Keeping a written monitor of everything you’ve accomplished so far will help keep you motivated. Mark certain milestones in your quest to shedding off the pounds, and reward yourself with a small treat each time you achieve a goal.

5. Be Busy

The acai berry comes from a plant called the acai palm tree, a member of the genus Euterpe. The berry is black/purple, small and round, with a diameter of 25mm, same to a grape. The uses of the acai berry include, other than food, the use as a dietary supplement, which is said to be highly beneficial and is sold in different forms, such as tablets and smoothies. The berry is said to boost a number of things, including energy levels, sexual performance and digestion, though it is also claimed that it reverses diabetes and other chronic illnesses. It’s most common use is as a product for weight loss. None of these claims are backed up by any evidence from controlled studies of any kind, making them dubious at best.
