Cellulites: How to Rid of It
For many women, the term cellulites conjures up a certain dread for this problem of fatty tissue tends to favor the stomach, thighs and bottom of a considerable percentage of females. Although rarer, males can also suffer with cellulites which are normally seen as regions that appear to be a lighter shade than the rest of the skin.
Ordinarily, with good blood circulation, a person will have smooth skin layers, but when there is fluid in the layers, the stored fats, and other chemical poisons do not get cleaned out of the system and become trapped within the skin. These tissues harden and thicken, producing cellulites, bumpy lines in the skin often referred to as the ‘orange peel’ effect.
How these cellulites will look and form depends on the individual’s genetic make-up, the type of life they lead and their weight. Having said that even active women can get cellulite and it can be found even in the muscles of fit individuals, including professional dancers and athletes because there are various forms of cellulites so being fat is only one reason for having the problem.
The hard cellulites bind themselves directly to the muscle tissue and are the toughest to get rid of. Fizzy cellulites, although, are much more apparent and may even appear to sag from the skin surface and while they come about in larger, muscle areas, they are ordinarily easily removed.
It is adult females who suffer the most from cellulite and this can begin anytime after their 14th birthday and will normally get worse with age. The birth control pill has been linked with acquiring cellulites, as has delivering a baby and suffering from a trauma.
Improving the blood circulation with physical exercise, combined with a healthy diet, will improve the appearance of cellulites and is still thought to be the best way to improve your cellulites condition. From the diet viewpoint, eating plenty of fruit and vegetables and running with a detoxifying diet, improves the chances of the cellulites disappearing. Whole grain foods are also hugely recommended but foods that should be avoided include frequent favorites such as coffee and carbonated drinks.
It is thought by some that spicy foods may bestow much in the appearance of cellulites but so far this seems to be unfounded and so not proved. The same cannot be said for those other 2 toxin laden commodities, alcohol and smoking which should be avoided. While a low fat diet is always preferably for health, reducing the intake of fatty foods helps subdue the enlargement of the cellulites because fat is harder to digest and more challenging to remove from your body.
While they cannot entirely get rid of cellulites, cellulite ointments are quite productive in treating and concealing cellulite. By using alpha-hydroxyl acid cream, the cellulites are made to appear as if they have vanished by making the skin more elastic whereas all the cream has done is mask the cellulites. Water, whether drunk or in therapy form is good for the skin as it removes toxins and fats from the system, improving the blood circulation and digestion, in effect rendering the cellulites less visible.
