How To Get Slim Arms-Questions And Answers

by Katherine Crawford M.S.

The sheer number of emails I receive on how to get slim arms is insane. I firmly believe that women are more confused than ever when it comes to getting the lean and sexy arms of their dreams.

And a big chunk of blame falls on all the marketing campaigns out there that simply create oodles of confusion. It seems that literally every day there is a new potion or gadget that can get you sexy arms overnight.

My aim with this article is to clear up some of the confusion on how to get slim arms.

So without further ado here are 4 questions and answers on how to get slim arms:

1. How much time before I see some changes? It depends on the underlying cause of the issue. If you have a lot of fat covering your arms, for instance, results could take up to a couple months. If you have a little fat, you could notice a change within weeks.

2. Should my workouts last 2 hours? The shorter the better. You see, when you exercise for a short period of time with lots of intensity, your body secretes a huge amount of arm fat burning hormones. So keep it short and hard. This is the best way to get slim arms.

3. Will bench dips help me get slim arms? I tell all my clients to never do bench dips. The risk is simply not worth it. You see, bench dips put a lot of stress on your shoulder joint. There are much more effective exercises for getting slim arms that don’t come with the risk.

4. I heard that doing 50 repetitions per set will get me faster results, is this true? You will be in a lot of pain, and unfortunately, you will not get faster results. You are better served doing a wide range of repetitions to activate all the muscle fibers in your arms.

There is a lot of advice floating around out there on how to get slim arms. I suggest finding a reliable source of unbiased information and rapidly applying what you’re learning. Don’t wait for the stars to be perfectly aligned before taking action. Doing so will take your sexy arm dreams to the grave!

A Few Tips To Exercise To Lose Weight

by Wayne Allen

Most of the time we live in a very closed environment. We have bodies that are designed to work and achieve different physical goals, but often we lead very caged lifestyles. From bed to breakfast table, then off to the car seat, next we spend most of the day in a chair, then it is back to the living room and then off to bed again.

Most health experts agree that obesity is caused as much by a lack of exercise as it is by overeating. Therefore it is very important to begin an exercise to lose weight program .

That does not mean that a lap around the high school track every once in a while is going to offset a dose of donuts. Just engaging in exercise every now and then is not enough, you will need to start a project that is consistent and happens every day.

If it is a part of your routine then it will be easier to schedule a certain time to be workout time. If exercise becomes a part of your daily life it will be much easier to maintain or lose weight.

Make sure that you get a right amount of sleep every night. Good sleep habits result in intense exercise workouts. If you feel tired or worn down you are less likely to engage in an exercise program that day. There is evidence to suggest that people who are tired tend to eat more. They substitute food for the rest their body needs.

The easiest exercise program of all is simply to take a walk. It is very low stress on the joints and as you improve the pace can be brisker and longer. Gradually build up to thirty minutes of brisk walking five times a week.

If you are a little more advanced you can use a treadmill for a run or just a brisk walk, if the weather outside is bad or you just do not feel like going outside. If you place the treadmill in the television room you can exercise and watch your favorite show.

Some of the problem may be the excuses but there really is a lack of time with most peoples hectic schedules. That is why many health experts suggest a basic guideline for incorporating exercise into your schedule.

Child Obesity Genetics Information For You

by Dave Owen

Obesity is normally linked to overeating. This is not always the case, as child obesity genetics is yet another cause that deserves examination. Statistics show that approximately 65% of US the population is suffering from some form of obesity. Of these, approximately 35% may be due to genetics, which means they may be able to pass it on to their children.

Regular Check Ups

Your medical record will be able to show if your genes are susceptible to obesity and if you are likely to pass it on to your babies. If you have them, you cannot correct child obesity genetics. But, if you are aware that you or your child is predisposed to this disorder, you can take preventive steps to help stay in good health.

Inform your child as he or she matures up about the child obesity genetics. That he or she is not only at risk of getting obese, but he or she can pass it on, as well, to his or her children. Educating your child about this disorder can and will make a big difference in keeping a slim figure and good health.

Preclude Without Obsessing

Being aware about a disorder such as obesity can cause a lot of stress. That is, if you don’t make this information available to your child in a way in which he or she is able to deal with it naturally and not obsessively. Starving yourself is as bad as , if not worse than, overeating. This kind of an obsession will probably become self destructive. Parents that are currently or have suffered from overweight issues and know about child obesity genetics quiteoften make the mistake of obsessing over their child’s eating habits. This may only cause him or her harm in the process.

There are a number of other disorders to be concerned with about when you know that your child is predisposed to obesity. Some of these are hypertension, sleep apnea, cardiovascular diseases that usually occur only when you are already obese, diabetes and heart attack. Notwithstanding, obesity can be prevented, when you are aware of the child obesity genetics present. This can be accomplished with education, healthy nutrition and exercise.

Eat Healthy And Exercise

Youngsters that have obese genes may have to be slightly more careful about food and exercise. They may also have to undergo different types of treatments during puberty or pregnancy. These may be needed to maintain the right weight during hormonal imbalances. However, thru education and good support, obesity can be prevented and treated successfully. It is possible to lead a happy, healthy and full life.

At least one-third of all adults in the US are diagnosed with high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. The symptoms of hypertension include seemingly minor problems such as headaches and dizziness. Because of this many of these people never realize that they have an illness until it is too late. Fortunately, natural treatment for high blood pressure can be used to ward off high blood pressure before it has a chance to develop. This can be important if you have a family medical history of hypertension.

The Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) has a major part in the cardiovascular system. The enzyme provides the heart with energy. The enzyme, naturally produced by the body, creates energy within the cells. However, production has been found to be less in those who suffer from hypertension. Research shows that CoQ10 reduces both systolic and diabolic pressures. CoQ10 should be used in combination with other treatments. It is also necessary to see a doctor before start these treatments.

Garlic naturally thins the blood. It improves circulation and lessens the symptoms of high blood pressure. Due to its blood thinning properties, garlic should be used carefully. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist before increasing garlic intake to prevent any medication interaction. Hawthorn is an herb supplement. It improves circulation by dilating the arteries. Studies have shown that hawthorn mildly reduces both the diastolic and systolic pressures.

Fish oil contains DHA (docohexaenoic acid). This ingredient has been found to be a part of a healthy cardiovascular system. Not yet approved by the FDA, fish oil should be used with caution. Folic acid, otherwise known as Vitamin B9, has been found to control the homocysteine levels in those diagnosed with from hypertension. As a water-soluble substance, our bodies can not store folic acid. A constant supply of folic acid is needed to provide the correct amount for heart health.

Some other natural remedies that lessen the risk for cardiovascular disease are potassium, calcium and magnesium. Calcium and magnesium work in together to reduce the effects of hypertension. Studies of magnesium have shown it to be effective in reducing the diastolic pressure. Potassium reduces the body’s sodium levels, which has proven to reduce systolic pressure. Incorporating these minerals as part of a healthy diet can work well as a natural treatment for high blood pressure.

One extremely important factor in reducing high blood pressure is diet. The National Institutes of Health has developed a diet specifically designed for reduction of high blood pressure is DASH. DASH stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension. The DASH diet can also be low sodium. This version reduces the sodium intake by 1500 mg per day.

Many other natural remedies exist for the treatment of hypertension. Most of these treatments are lifestyle changes, such as regular exercise. Other treatments include autogenic training. This type of training explains how to control the inner functions through breathing techniques. This remedy is often used in conjunction with biofeedback. Finally, non-traditional medicines from India and China can work as natural treatments for high blood pressure.

Everybody wants to be fit and in vibrant health, but most of the time you fail to be. The most important aspect you need to know is the cause of the sickness and how to get rid of the toxins and parasites that causing it. When the microorganisms are ingested to the body through food, water or air, the whole process of digestion is impaired leading to accumulation of toxic materials inside the body. This toxic environment thrives the propagation of the parasites in the colon. The effects of these parasites in stomach cause bloating, constipation, anemia, nervousness, low immunity, asthma and skin rashes. The colon cleansing parasites should be done properly to get rid of these micro organisms.

The American Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, recently found some interesting research findings. It found that colon cancer has become the 2nd fatal source of cancerous deaths in the US. Let us look at the Cancer Statistics 2007, it said that in year 2004 alone, more than 50,000 Americans faced death due to colon cancer.

Colon cleansing is a process not an event some people can have as much as ten pounds of compacted waste lying dormant in your colon and then thick mucosal plaque underneath it. Obviously you can not brush your colon as you brush your teeth so consistent cleansing is recommended.

You need to properly cook the meat and fish you eat. Raw meat can be carriers of microorganisms. This will reach your stomach and cause major stomach illness. Personal hygiene plays an important role in the process of colon cleansing parasites. Your hands should be washed before and after every meal, after going to bathroom, changing diapers and after handling your pets. Do not walk bare foot as the ground and gardens are rich in organisms.

Be careful not to overuse the medication as they destroy the friendly bacteria inside your stomach. Healthy cells and friendly parasites need oxygen to live where as the pathogens are anaerobic. Changing the living environment is as easy method to fight against these killer worms.
