Men are you annoyed with hearing about how flat your stomach once was and how you can barely see your feet underneath it? If so, I want to let you know that all that can change. I can show you how to get rid of your beer belly, and what’s better, without giving up the beer! But let’s first discuss what a beer belly really is and what causes it.

So, what is a beer belly? A beer belly is defined as a lump of fat thats taken up residence between your chest and what used to be your waist. Is it caused by beer? No. Science has proven the beer belly is fat caused by calorie build up, resulting from unhealthy diets and sedentary lifestyles. The abdomen is where men have their greatest deposit of fat cells so, if the body takes in a lot of calories and neglects to burn them through exercise, the body deposits that fat right in your stomach.

Okay, now that we’ve discussed where that belly comes from, (probably those mashed potatoes you like to eat) we can now discuss what you can do to get rid of it. You should start by working on those fat cells that are spreading across your stomach. While I have already stated that beer is not the cause, it can contribute to your rotund stomach. Alcohol can make you hungrier (remember beer and pizza with the guys on Sunday night?). But if you stopped drinkg as much, you’d probably stop eating as much which would be one step on your journey to flat abs.

Lose the beer and you can also lose that increased appetite. But this article isn’t about getting rid of the beer; it’s about getting rid of the belly, so I won’t tell you to stop drinking. You could also exercise and burn more calories than the amount of calories you take in from drinking beer. But exercise too may sound like a lot of hard work. So for the purposes of this article, we will focus on the best beers for your belly!

So the first thing that comes to your mind when I say low calories is all those light beers that taste likewell you know, but How to Get Rid of the Beer Belly without Giving Up Beer is for real men who would never think of ordering one of “them there sissy light beers.”

So first up is a nice dark Guinness Draught, boasting 125 calories and 10 carbs its not a light beer but it does have a low calorie count and you wont have to drink 10 of them to make up for the lack of taste. Next up is Beamish Irish Stout, it has 131 calories but you still arent losing anything in the taste and your waist is happy. So drink responsibly and finish up with Busch, it has 133 calories and about 10 carbs.

So now you have the key to getting rid of your beer belly without having to but down the bottle. So the next time your wife or girlfriend tells you to get off the couch and lose some weight, go grab yourself another cold one, pop the bottle open and tell her you’re working on it now!

Losing weight is not always easy and people that have struggled with obesity truly realize this. For some, traditional diet and exercise do not work and it is not because of lack of trying. There are those that have tried any and every diet and exercise program that has come down the pike. Yet, they are unable to lose weight. For these individuals, there is no reason to feel despondent or give up hope. There are reliable surgical procedures that can aid in eliminating unwanted fat deposits.

The top three surgical procedures that people seek are liposuction, lap band surgery, and a tummy tuck. Each of these procedures is unique and seeks particular goals. Understanding these differences is a key factor in selecting the proper procedure to engage in.

For cosmetic weight loss procedures and problem areas, Liposuction is probably the most popular and well known. This procedures involves the suctioning of fat from certain regions of the body, examples are the stomach, thighs, back and chin. In this procedure not only is fat removed but fat can be re-contoured. This means that the body can be sculpted to create a more desirable shape.

A combination of two procedures, the abdominoplasty better known as the “Tummy Tuck” involves first minor liposuction to get rid of excess fat deposits for the abdomen. Then the procedure calls for the cutting and tightening of the abdominal muscles and fascia. This is done to reshape the abdominal to be tight and firm. When the procedure is performed correctly the results are a shapely midsection.

For individuals who are severely obese and have limited options available to lose enough weight to improve their health, Lap ban surgery has become a viable option. This surgery which is radically different for the aforesaid procedures is not used for cosmetic sculpting of the body, more accurately; the surgery makes adjustments to the gastrointestinal tract by altering the gastrointestinal tract to decrease the amount of food intake.

In many cases insurance does not cover the cost of these procedures. The costs can vary; the following are the average cost for the procedures:

Liposuction – based on the area of the body and the amount of fat remove the cost can range from $1,200 to $7,000.

The “Tummy Tuck” procedure cost can range from $3,000 to $9,000, factors that affect the cost are the surgeon and extent of the procedure.

Lap Band This is the most expensive of all procedures and can run upwards of $17,000. Thankfully, this is the one procedure that insurance providers may be more willing to cover.

The time to complete recovery varies among procedures and it also depends on the person and their body. Recovering from liposuction usually takes up to 2 weeks, while a more minor procedure usually takes only 4 days. A tummy tuck usually ranges from one week to four weeks in recovery time. However, a lap band procedure, which is much more invasive, will take anywhere from a month to six weeks to recover.

Plastic surgery can be expensive and invasive, and there are many who choose other alternatives such as meal replacement plans. Those who choose surgery find that weight loss goals can more efficiently be met.

How To Get The Right Personal Trainer

by Dorthy Weatherbush

Losing weight can be a very difficult process, but can be made easier with the help of a personal trainer. They can help you to set goals, reach them, and create plan that is custom tailored to fit your body and your needs. But, it is very important to get the right trainer if you are going to invest the money in paying for one. Fortunately, the following tips are pretty easy and straightforward and will help you to get the right personal trainer so that you can better reach your weight loss goals.

For any profession or job, experience is a very important factor. If the person has never trained anyone before, how do you know that they will work well with you? While a new person can offer some benefits and does deserve a chance, make sure that their pricing reflects that fact that they are new to the business and lack experience.

Check to see if the trainer holds any accredited certifications. There are a number of excellent programs designed to educate people in the profession of a personal trainer. A trainer that holds attains such a certificate will usually be a fine choice as a trainer. The certificates are not easy to acquire as one must complete a lengthy learning stage and then pass a series of qualification tests.

Associations speak volumes about individuals and personal trainers are no different. If the personal trainer is affiliated with a gym that has a good reputation in the community, the odds are strong that the trainer is reliable and skilled. After all, a quality gym and fitness center would probably not hire someone who lacks credentials and skill.

Ask the trainer what his/her specialties are. Personal trainers generally will possess a great variety of skills. Some specialize in body weight training while others prefer traditional free weight training. Some trainers are sticklers for exercises that build the core muscles while other stress show muscles. There are trainers that espouse the value of elastic band training while some are actively promoting the new trend of Russian kettle bell training. When you learn their specialties, you can select a program that is right for your needs and goals.

Is the trainer available for questions and answers via telephone or email, at times outside of general training sessions? It is absolutely normal for a client to have questions during the week when he or she is not training with the trainer. Your body goes through changes, and you may want to know what is happening or you may be in need of advice. A good trainer should allow you to communicate with them outside of you regular schedule. However, you should not bombard them with communication. If you need more time, you should pay for it.

Of course, cost also plays a vital role in your selections. The hourly fees of a personal trainer are quite varied. And, quite honestly, you can receive great training at all ends of the pricing scale. But, you will need to select a trainer whose fees will allow you to train regularly. You do not want to fall short of the fee for your weekly session or else you will find yourself cancelling those sessions simply out of pure economics.

Similarly, looking for deals is another wise idea when it comes to selecting a personal trainer. Does the trainer offer a discount with the purchase of a certain number of sessions? If so, such an offer may be well worth taking advantage of!

The tips listed here are a great jump off point for getting a trainer, but the key is finding someone you are happy with and who will get you to your goal.

So many women think they have to be a size 8 to be hot and sexy. What a sad misconception! The fact is, every woman can look hot whatever her shape or size. Take a few tips from other hot, sexy women who know exactly how to bring out the best in themselves.

1. Spend Some Time In Hair and Makeup. Hair and makeup are two things that will change your look drastically, and once you do them, will instantly boost your confidence, bringing out your inner sexy. Take some time in the morning to try new and complimentary hairstyles, using ideas from celebrities and magazines. Do your makeup as well, paying close attention to the eyes and lips especially. For great tips on makeup application, stop by a local department store and have an associate teach you s few things.

2. Just a few Accessories! It is amazing the difference that a few accessories can make. First of all, you should never leave home without a good pair of earrings. They add a nice little something to your face and to any outfit. Next, consider a necklace, a scarf, or even some bracelets. However, don’t overdo it. Coco Chanel always said to take just one thing off before going out the door.

3. Wear Heels! Consider wearing a higher heel. How high a heel you go with is up to you and your feet, but even a small heel helps elongate the line of the leg (which is very sexy) and adds height (when you add an inch of height, it looks like youve subtracted 5-10 pounds from your weight and yes, its an illusion, but most of us will happily embrace it). And if you can pull off the stilettos, go for it! Men and women alike agree high heels are hot and wearing them just makes you feel hot! And when you feel hot, you look hot!

4. Wear Pretty Undergarments. Were talking bras and panties, here properly fitted, I might add. Ladies, you want a bra that will support your breasts properly so your clothes fall on you in the most flattering line possible. You dont want any sagging or bulging. Same thing with the undies. Make sure they fit properly and comfortably, dont dig in so you have bulges where you definitely dont want bulges, and that they dont show. That’s why theyre called undergarments. Whether you prefer a thong or a full brief with tummy control, no one wants to see your undies hanging out over the top of your jeans. And theres nothing like knowing you have a little sexy black bra and panties on underneath whatever it is youre wearing to make you feel just a little bit naughty and very, very hot.

5. Get a Fragrance. Being sexy involves an entire aura that you give off. You must not only stimulate the visual senses, but also the sense of smell. Therefore, it is important that you invest in a fragrance that really accentuates your body’s natural smell. Try taking a trip to Sephora to see what you might like. They carry lots of different perfume options, so you are sure to find one that you like. Experiment with several and you may find that they bring out your inner sexy.

None of these Sexy 101 secrets have a thing to do with how much you weight or don’t weigh! So give them a try starting today! No dieting required.
